Seeing not Looking takes its title from a story by Oliver Sacks about two people who had surgery to restore their sight, yet only one of them could see. Sacks suggested that to see, you need to look.
The work brings a sensor-laden autonomous drone camera together with two performers in a studio. All three bodies negotiate how they see one another. Can the drone camera look, and how does it see? Their improvised exchange unfolds over seven minutes.
